Thifswin Association for Amazigh Theater participated in the first Amazigh theater festival in Tizi Ouzou, held from 7 to 12 May 2009.

Organized through the city’s regional theater, the festival brought companies together to exchange ideas about performance and the development of Amazigh theater. Its activities included discussions with theater practitioners, alongside productions from groups such as Tafokt and the regional company from Béjaïa.

Thifswin presented Taslit n Uzru in Kabylia for the first time. For the Al Hoceima group, the visit offered a chance to share its work with a new audience and to meet artists working in a related language and cultural setting.
